Confab 2011 Overview
We appreciate your interest in speaking at the Institute of Management Consultants’ CONFAB 2011.
The specific objectives of this event are to provide a valuable learning and networking experience to those who are just considering or just starting a consulting practice and those who are experienced management consultants. The success of this conference has been built upon successful consultants sharing their knowledge and experience with those who want to learn something new, and those who want to sharpen their consulting and business skills.
The Confab Committee for 2011 is seeking speakers who are interested in presenting their thoughts, ideas, and skills to the attendees of our conference “for management consultants by management consultants”.
Confab 2011 will be held in Reno, Nevada at the Silver Legacy Resort. The dates for the 2011 conference will be announced shortly.
Presentations should focus on the “how to” of laying foundations for growth, growing consulting practices, diversifying products and services offered, forming consulting alliances, and similar topics. Presentations are expected to allow attendees to take away something concrete that allows them to complete one or two steps in growing their consulting practice, increasing their value to their clients, or making them more successful.
The audience is a mix of experienced consultants and individuals who are just entering the profession. We typically present topics that appeal to those attendees who are launching a practice, refining their consulting skills, or expanding their practice. We are seeking speakers who can connect with these audiences and move them forward with their consulting skills and the management of their consulting practices.
Please note: Application deadlines will be posted along with the call for speakeras in July / August.
