Gaining More with a Website
One of the most accessible marketing and information tools available to consultants is the website. Websites that are referenced within email footers, business cards, and other marketing materials; all with the intent of inviting potential customers to visit the site. The problem with many websites is they are lacking basic navigational markers and easy to implement methods to retain and profit from those web visits.
Phillipa Gamse will be presenting her session on “Leaky Websites” at Confab 2010. An excellent consultant training session to provide expert advise on design, changes, and measures to ensure a successful website design. Attending consultants will learn the secrets to improving their website to better target specific marketing or sales goals.
Going into this weekend take a moment to look over your website with the following questions in mind, “What are my goals with this website?” “Does this website drive my users towards that goal” and “Can I effectively understand why they are not visiting?” If the answer to anyone of these questions is “I have no clue” then mark this Confab session down on your calendar and join other consultants for a weekend of learning and development. See you there.

Using the internet to generate leads is critical to most businesses these day. Gone are the days of just putting up a static website that told a bit about you and showed some of your work. Websites need to be interactive, they need to be content rich, they should help the consumer choose you. If your website is static and has become stale, this workshop is for you.
Thanks for the review.
Another thing, loving the blog design. I had a similar blog myself before I sold it on at the beginning of 2009.
