Registrations Are Way Ahead of Last Year

I can’t remember when we had 67 consultants registered this early for Confab. I can’t remember when we had a dozen. We usually don’t get started until early summer and the balloon doesn’t happen until September right before the early-bird discounts cut off. We know if we build it they will come, but there is a lot of us on the committee holding our breath around Labor Day. This year it looks to be different.

What is it, is the economy turning and people don’t want to be left behind as business gets ratcheted up; or is our program more compelling this year; or did they miss out last year and now need their networking fix this October? Whatever it is, we’re not complaining. We were hoping for a 30% increase in attendance this year. We are already on our way and it’s only May.
