This highly interactive workshop is specifically designed to provide an overview of successful actions consultants must take to begin or continue to build a thriving practice and create positive cash flow.  A great blending of networking and learning from your colleagues, this is the perfect foundation for a strong consulting practice.  Participants will leave this workshop with 7 Key Actions for Consulting Success—an action plan to implement to build or grow your practice when you return from Confab.  Participants will:  Identify what they offer and the value they bring to their clients; determine what their ideal client looks like; evaluate their current marketing strengths and weaknesses; and better understand the sales cycle and how to sell consulting services.

Objective / Value:

Many consultants have great talents and experience, but lack enough paying clients to generate the business income they seek as a consultant.  Participants will leave this workshop with 7 Key Actions for Consulting Success, and a beginning action plan to implement in their practice.

Participants will examine their practice to:

Jennifer Leake

During my 20 years as a consultant, family moves around the country forced me to start my consulting practice from ground zero 4 times.  I still recall the challenge of finding clients and the financial struggle.   Each time I made fewer mistakes, became profitable earlier and began to see a pattern of why some consultants survive and flourish while others struggle and fail.    It’s a tragedy when talented people fail at consulting – both for the consultant and the business clients who need their knowledge and skills.

Because of this love for consulting, my personal experience and seeing many talented consultants struggle to stay in business, I launched Consultants Gold and Consultants Boot Camp.   Both are created to teach others what successful consultants have in common.   Armed with this knowledge and skills, we want to help you increase the chances you’ll have the successful consulting practice you want.
