Bob Phillips

I have more than thirty years experience as a Human Resource professional up to the VP level with some of America’s most recognized companies: Intel, AT&T, U-Haul, Sequent Computers, Tektronix, Digital Equipment Corporation, Grass Valley Group and Thomson Multimedia. My combination of soft skills in people management areas and understanding of hard skills in the financial workings of a business give me a unique view of what it takes to be successful in the complex world of today.  Not only have I worked with organizations in the domestic market but also managed staff and major change management projects in Europe, APAC, Canada and Australia.

During the past 10 years I have been President of my own consulting practice that focuses on companies and organizations that need to improve their effectiveness in accomplishing business objectives.  We have worked with organizations from pre-funded start-ups to multi-billion dollar companies with worldwide operations.

As the co-author of the book “Absolute Honesty; Building a Corporate Culture That Values Straight Talk and Rewards Integrity” (AMACOM June 2003) we have developed additional tools to be used in the introduction of cultural change initiatives and ethical dilemmas that organizations are faced with in today’s complex work environment.
