Consultants need to meet other consultants in order to get the most out of ConFab.  Enhance your experience by making valuable connections at the very beginning of the conference.  The BizTalk Blender® insures that you meet people to enjoy the conference with and do future business with in a relaxed yet structured networking environment.

Objective / Value:

The BizTalk Blender® is an excellent kick-off event for CONFAB attendees to meet consultants to work with and refer clients to and thereby have a more enriched conference experience.   Most conferences have no real forum for truly meeting and getting to know new people.  By attending the BizTalk Blender® at the beginning of the conference, participants will get to meet other consultants in a structured, but fun & relaxed atmosphere.   It puts people at ease and guides them through a series of steps that will maximize their ability to make new business connections.  Alice will greet attendees and give them instructions for the BizTalk Blender.  After the participants Blend they will enjoy getting to know each other with some BizTalk in small groups.  They will discuss a business topic facilitated by Alice.   Participants will leave to go to their first workshop energized and with new friends and business connections.  They will be more comfortable and relaxed which will enhance their learning because they have had a chance to get to know some of the other participants.

Speaker Biography:

For the past 20 years Alice Heiman has spoken for conferences, association meetings, chambers of commerce, and run training for salespeople and sales management throughout the country.   Alice is a natural when it comes to delivering information and she does so in an engaging, fun and interactive way.  As a sales expert, Alice helps companies grow by working with business leaders to provide strategies and tactics for increasing sales. She began developing her sales expertise at Miller Heiman, Inc., where as a certified instructor, she was responsible for training, coaching, and program quality. She’s been named Saleswoman of the Year by Professional Saleswomen of Nevada, Marketer of the Year by the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association and has received the Community Spirit Award from the Sparks Chamber of Commerce and Blue Ribbon Small Business Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  Alice has written articles on sales and sales management that have been published in the Northern Nevada Business Weekly, Reno Gazette Journal, RLife Magazine, Business Leader Magazine and Simple Team Solutions, and is part of the adjunct faculty for University of Nevada, College of Business, where she teaches sales and business communications and utilizes her BizTalk Blender® to teach juniors and seniors to network with the business community.  She’s been featured in Selling Power Magazine, Nevada Women Magazine, and the Reno Gazette Journal, “People You Should Know”.  Since 1997 Alice has helped companies large & small increase their sales profitably. Having appeared on radio & television and presented to numerous conferences and professional organizations, Alice is, quite simply, an instigator of business relationships.
