Su8, Sunday Oct 24 - 11:15 AM  to 12:30 PM

Description:

You’ve researched the market. Time to start writing your book.  Does your writing ability match your marketable idea? Where do you start? How to structure writing time? What materials to use? How to organize your book? What help should you find? Ghostwriter Roger Peterson explains the process.

Objective / Value:

Writing a book is hard work, and it’s not for everyone. But hard work can be fun, and a book can greatly enhance your image, leads, and closings. The process of assembling a book, be it traditionally bound or electronic, requires steps. This session is about learning those steps. We will start with some paragraphs you will edit to help you assess your writing ability. We’ll cover the discipline required to complete a book, and various ways to organize a business book. Participants’ takeaways: They should determine if a book is a good idea for them. They can leave with an organizational scheme for their book, and some idea of the resources they will need to complete a book.
