Session Description
Company culture can work for or against a client’s performance in changing economic times. Utilizing a systemic approach to company culture fine-tunes a consultant’s practice and builds new ways of being of service to clients. This session will focus on how to integrate company culture technology into client engagement plans.
Session Objective / Value
” Succeed by Harnessing Company Culture” is an interactive working session. The focus is on supporting consultants in utilizing a systemic approach to company culture to enhance their services to clients. The session is most highly suited for seasoned consultants who want to explore new and different ways of approaching their work.
We will practice a mini culture diagnosis of a company and participants will leave with a set of Five Culture Questions to enable them to jumpstart culture dialogues with clients.
Session objectives are to gain a practical and introductory understanding of:
- How company culture works and to communicate its power
- Common cultural supports and barriers in times of economic change
- How to help leaders shape culture
- How to integrate culture work into client engagement plans
Speaker Biography
Terri Kruzan and her Atlanta-based company, Culture Consulting, are recognized experts in supporting consultants and their clients in aligning the culture of organizations to achieve business results. With over 20 years of experience, our unique expertise is in helping people develop concrete skills to shape workplace culture to confront business crises and more effectively implement strategies. Ms Kruzan is the humorous voice behind the blog Leading-Workplace-Change…a finalist in the Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. She received her MBA from Goizueta School of Business at Emory University and her BA from Mt. Holyoke College.
Ms Kruzan has over 20 years of experience working with large and small companies across all business sectors. Her focus is on delivering a rapid assessment of a client’s work place culture and the identification of key points of intervention. A noteworthy project includes supporting General Motors in the development of a Common Process for Culture Change to be used across all units of the company. Sample clients include Palmetto Health, Dell Computers, Cleco Corporation, Fannie Mae, U.S. Energy Corporation (USEC), U.S. Forest Service and Care.
