Speaker Biography
Dr. Howard Rasheed is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Institute for Innovation, a company specializing in strategic visioning concepts for innovation and creative thinking. He is the inventor of the Internet-based Idea Accelerator Software based on the Bisociation Brainstorming process.
Howard Rasheed is Associate Professor of Management at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and holds a Ph.D. from The Florida State University in Strategic, International, & Entrepreneurial Management. Dr. Rasheed has written over 25 academic publications in the areas of: innovation, e-commerce, business strategy, and entrepreneurship. Dr. Rasheed currently teaches courses in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Managing Innovation and Technology.
Dr. Rasheed has owned a consulting firm for over 30 years that provides consultative services to small and mid-size entrepreneurial firms. The firm has written and competitively won over $16 million in public and private contracts and grants.
