Consultants often are so busy working with their clients that they don’t take time to think about their business model.  A business model is the method of doing business by which the sole practitioner or organization can sustain itself; that is, generate revenue.

Session Objective / Value

Given the complexities of today’s business environment, it makes sense to step back and evaluate your current business model and evolve it to reach the next level.  After attending this session, attendees will have strategies and tactics to develop a business model that is correct for them.  They will learn how to:

  1. Evaluate your current business model.
  2. Re-evaluate or develop clear objectives based on your assets and goals.
  3. Learn the steps necessary to evolve your business model.
  4. Optimize your business model for your current situation.
  5. Determine your action plan for success.

Speaker Biography

For over 20 years Linda Hanson has been hired by CEOs and managers to advance their corporate planning and processes and to communicate them effectively throughout the organization.  She is known as a performance improvement expert who works with the people, processes and planning to attain higher profits and accountability.

Prior to starting LLH Enterprises, Linda built her corporate career in planning and marketing with Fortune 500 companies such as Economics Laboratories and Max Factor and later with Jones Intercable.  During her career at Jones Intercable, Linda managed 8 divisions—the largest with sales of $40 million.  She is the coauthor of 10 Secrets of Marketing Success:  How to Jump-Start Your Marketing and the author of Earning Your Seat at The Table: HRs Contribution to the Business. Her articles have been published in “Directorship Magazine”, “Director’s Monthly, the Handbook of Business Strategy”, “Human Capital”, and “Canadian Manager”.  Linda is president of LLH Enterprises which has offices in Dallas and Toronto.
